Most sellers can say roughly how many disputes they had last quarter, and almost none can say which reason codes they lose, how long they take to respond, or whether the cases they conceded would have been winnable. A simple log fixes that. Each row is one dispute, recorded the day it arrives and closed the day the decision lands, and after a few months the columns show you where your process leaks.

Copy this sheet into a spreadsheet and add a row for every dispute, including the ones you accept. The Amount and Outcome columns feed your win rate, the Received and Due columns show how much of your window you actually use, and the Triage path column lets you test your own rules against results. The article at /blog/tracking-your-win-rate/ explains how to read the totals, and the Chargeback Ratio Headroom Checker at /tools/chargeback-ratio-headroom/ turns the monthly count into the number your processor watches.
